About Me

My name is Sarah Gangl and I am a senior at Sport and Medical Sciences Academy. At this school there is a mandatory senior capstone project with fifteen hours of community service that needs to be completed for a graduation requirement. This came fairly easy to me and I enjoyed the field work a lot.

Since about freshman year I have been a Christian and this heavily influenced my capstone project. I wanted to go alongside my youth leader in the fight for life. This meant going to her workplace, ABC Women's Center in Middletown, and interning with Molly Hurtado. I also was able to raise funds that would help further ABC's services that they offer for free to any woman and her family.

Mission Statement

Growing up my parents always wanted me to pursue my passions and have what they did not have. Being a student at SMSA has exposed me to many different aspects of the medical field which allowed me to find my little niche in the medical profession. My mission is to go to college in hopes of getting my Doctorate in Pharmacy. This will allow me to help patients directly with the knowledge I will have on their current or future medications.
